While working at the Ford Oakville Assembly Plant, two Brothers, the Founders of Solex Industrial Handling & Equipment Ltd. discovered a very specific need that, if corrected, could not only ease the workload for workers like himself, but it would save the company time and money.
He invented and then fabricated a specialized tie conveyor that upgraded and improved the plants overall production. Word got out that the brothers were fabricating these pieces and other industrial handling components for the automotive industry out of a small shop in their spare time. Soon after, demand was so high that the brothers left their positions at Ford. It was then that Solex Industrial Handling & Equipment Ltd. was born.
Over time, Solex Industrial Handling & Equipment Ltd. took on more and more customers. We built strong relationships with our clients and became well known and respected within the industry as well as our community.
Along with our strong ties to the automotive industry, we began to service many others such as; petroleum, chemical, food & beverage, agricultural, and mining. We provided all of these customers with a vast variety of custom products.
